With Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, in which she will star alongside Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor is prepared to make her Bollywood debut. When asked by Bollywood Hungama if she would rather be well-known later in life after appearing in a project, Shanaya—who is already well-known—replied. Because of her celebrity, Shanaya claims she has already experienced criticism.

Speaking about her "journey" so far, Shanaya also said that she received criticism but accepted it constructively and learned from it. "In my opinion, I've learned a lot from my journey up until now." With fame comes comments and criticism, regardless of the fame or the pressure. I've taken it as feedback and grown from it, learning from it, and seeing it positively. And it's my parents who made me who I am now. They raised me in a specific manner. "Yes, this has been my environment, but I don't think I would want it any different because I'm sure of who I am now," she stated.

In the past few years, Shanaya discusses her "journey"

"It's been a journey of its own for the last few years," said Shanaya, who was meant to make her Bollywood debut with Bedhadak. "I think that comes with probably things I've gone through in the span of getting here today." Today's trip has been an adventure in itself. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that in order for something wonderful to occur, everything must be exactly as it is. I'm content and have my fingers crossed, she continued.

Shanaya also stated that she is pleased with how things have transpired, noting that she is glad she waited the previous few years before making her cinematic debut. She also stated that "learning about the setbacks, unpredictability of our industry has made me value my work a lot more." Shanaya also acknowledged that she had "it much easier compared to others."

Reddit queries about Shanaya's nonexistent trip

"Shanaya Kapoor speaking about her non-existent journey and 'the things she has gone through' gave me such an ick," read the Reddit caption accompanying the interview snippet. "Wow, such an insightful interview. What trip? What challenges?" one reader remarked. It helps to watch it without sound. "Delulu is the solulu," someone stated.

"I'm the only one who's having trouble here because I can't connect with her made-up trip," a Reddit user remarked. Her sole trip has been from her living room to the movie set. "She is in her own delusional world," another person said. "When did the journey begin? That's rich coming from her!" one statement said.

Concerning Bedhadak

A few years ago, director Shashank Khaitan and filmmaker Karan Johar unveiled Bedhadak. In addition to Shanaya, it also included Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada in the cast. In 2022, Karan posted on Instagram that the movie would begin filming in 2023, but there hasn't been any news about it since.
