Even before her Bollywood debut in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Shanaya Kapoor is already mastering the art of navigating the bright lights and scrutiny that come with being a celebrity. The young celebrity recently discussed her strategy for dealing with online criticism in an interview, admitting that she doesn't avoid the bad. She actively looks for it, in reality.

Shanaya discusses dealing with negative feedback

In an interview with Screen, Shanaya stated frankly, "I am someone who searches for negative articles and comments. I owe it to the audience to know what they are saying."

Shanaya's readiness to interact with criticism, even when it's directed at her personally, does distinguish her in an era where many celebrities opt to ignore or avoid online hate. She acknowledged that some of the remarks might be "very harsh," especially those that attack her looks.

"My attire, my appearance, and my physical condition are sometimes treated quite harshly. I isolate and filter them out. It has occurred throughout time. Prior to this trip, I've gained experience that has taught me what to set aside and what to bring back. I see it in a good light. It's a response on my skill that I can improve upon," Shanaya said.

Concerning Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan

The trailer for Aankon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which captivated the audience, was released by the producers on Tuesday. Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Maheep Kapoor and actor Sanjay Kapoor, makes her acting debut in the film alongside Vikrant Massey. In the movie, Vikrant plays a blind man. Written by Mansi Bagla and directed by Santosh Singh, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is a Zee Studios and Mini Films production that will be released in theaters on July 11.
