A squad of BMC and forest department personnel were seen at Shah Rukh Khan's opulent Mumbai mansion Mannat after an activist reported unlawful building activity there. Following a complaint by an activist, they were looking for any transgressions, according to a Times of India story.
The renovation of Mannat, which consists of a historic house and a multi-story addition, is now in progress. The authorities who came to inspect were met by the actor's staff because he and his family had temporarily moved to a nearby home in Pali Hill. They promised the authorities that all necessary building permits and associated paperwork will be properly filed.
The manager dispels rumors
Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh's manager, even refuted any unlawful behavior. “There are no complaints. All work is proceeding in accordance with regulations,” she said to an online media.
"A squad did conduct a site inspection as we received a complaint about renovation permissions," a forest department official informed the publisher. "A report will be written based on the findings and submitted soon." The fact that the BMC members were only a part of the investigation team to assist the forest authorities was also brought up.
In response to the construction at Mannat, activist Santosh Daundkar filed a complaint. Former IPS officer Y. P. Singh stated that Mannat was originally a heritage building called Villa Vienna and that a seven-story addition was built in 2005. To avoid the Urban Land Ceiling Act, 12 small flats were authorized but subsequently combined into a single opulent home for Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. Singh asserted that municipal collusion occurred and that the owners are now obligated to restore the flats in order to comply with the law and meet the goals of housing.
Where do Shah Rukh and his family reside at the moment?
Shah Rukh Khan has been a resident of Mannat for many years. The home is worth several million dollars and was created by his wife, the interior designer Gauri Khan. They resided there with their three children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam.
For the time being, they reside on four floors of the opulent Puja Casa apartment complex, which is situated in Bandra's Pali Hill neighborhood and is owned by film director Vashu Bhagnani.
