The filming of the Santhosh Trophy is scheduled to begin in September, according to reports. The producers of Prithviraj's upcoming movie, Khalifa, however, claim that filming will begin in London on August 6. It is unknown if, after completing Khalifa's London schedule, the actor would be filming for the Santhosh Trophy.

In an interview with The Cue last year, Vipin Das revealed that he and Prithviraj Sukumaran's initiative would begin in 2024. But it was postponed for an unknown cause. In addition to the amusing elements of Vipin's earlier films, Vaazha, a biopic of a billion boys, and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya are also included. The majority of the cast of the film will be newcomers, the director told me. There are high expectations for this film since Vipin's prior films were praised for their amusing narrative approach.

Upcoming movies starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in 2025

The actor's most recent performance was in his third directorial film, L2: Empuraan. The sequel to the 2019 film Lucifer was a big box office hit, despite the controversy surrounding its cinematic debut. The movie is now available for streaming via JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium. Prithviraj also stars in Nissam Basheer's upcoming Malayalam film Nobody, which also features Parvathy Thiruvothu. Vysakh is the director of the expensive film Khalifa. Vilayath Buddha, one of his other films, is scheduled to premiere in theaters this year.

Prithviraj is now prepared for the release of his Hindi film, Sarzameen, which also stars Kajol and Ibrahim Ali Khan in significant roles. From midnight on July 25, the movie, which is set in Kashmir, will be accessible on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium. Additionally, Prithviraj is a member of SSMB29, an untitled picture directed by Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the main roles.
