Aamir Khan just discussed how his connection with fellow celebrities Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan has changed over time, highlighting the influence of his personal struggles in building those relationships. Aamir confessed to The Lallantop in an open interview that he and Salman became unlikely friends during a particularly trying time in his life.

"I was emotionally shattered when I split from Reena (Dutta)." I would seclude myself from others and consume a lot. Salman simply stopped over one evening for dinner. We spoke for hours, though I can't recall how it all transpired. Our genuine friendship began that evening.

Their connection hadn't always been this friendly. Tension characterized their debut film, the 1994 cult favorite Andaz Apna Apna. “I found it annoying that Salman would frequently be late,” they said. I didn't believe we could ever be friends back then. However, I had changed by the time I ran into him several years later. I discovered that everyone has flaws. Everyone makes errors. I was able to be less judgmental as a result of that realization.

Aamir responded calmly to the recurring parallels between the three Khans. In either cricket or film, he claimed that it's only normal for people to compare the best players. He said he recognized the interest in the media and among supporters.

During a lighter moment, Aamir shared a humorous memory from his life on Carter Road when his house was being renovated. He and Kiran (Rao) were living in the same building as Jackie Shroff. He saw a big crowd outside one day and considered. He hurried down, only to discover that they were waiting for Tiger Shroff.
