Salman Khan had confirmed he has trigeminal neuralgia when he was promoting his 2017 film Tubelight in Dubai. Also called suicide disease (since many patients develop suicide tendencies), it is the condition where the patient suffers from a sudden electric shock-like symptom on one side of the face. The condition can be triggered by even the simplest of actions like brushing teeth.

What is brain aneurysm and AV malformation?

Brain aneurysm, like the name itself suggests, is a condition of the brain. It is a bulge in the brain caused by a weakened blood vessel wall. In severe conditions, one rupture can cause hemorrhagic stroke, which is life-threatening.

In arteriovenous malformation (AV malformation or AVM), the arteries carry blood to veins, which could be dangerous if it ruptures. In a normal person, arteries carry blood to tissues and veins carry it back.AVMs can cause bleeding, seizures, headaches, or neurological issues.
