The response to Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, which starred newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, was unexpected both at the box office and elsewhere. The movie, which has a widely publicized album, was produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani. The title tune has now surpassed the likes of Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga to crack Spotify's Top 50 Global list's top 10.

The top 50 worldwide list includes Saiyaara

The title song of Saiyaara by Tanishk, Farheem, and Arslan, Barbaad (Reprise) by Jubin Nautiyal and Shilpa Rao, Vishal Mishra's Tum Ho Toh, Humsafar by Sachet-Parampara, and Saiyaara (Reprise) by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal have all been popular in India's music charts. All six songs from Saiyaara, written by Tanishk, Farheem, and Arslan, were among the top ten songs on Spotify's India Top 50 list on Tuesday night.

The Saiyaara title song is currently ranked number eight on Spotify's Global Top 50 list, having broken into the top ten. The creators claim in a news release that it is the first Bollywood song to accomplish this accomplishment, but Indian songs like Big Dawgs by Hanumankind have also made the list. Currently, it is ranked higher on the list than Justin Bieber's Daisies, Tyler's Big Poe, Tyler's Sugar On My Tongue, Alex Warren's Ordinary, Sombr's Back to Friends, BLACKPINK's Jump, and HUNTR/X's Golden.

Interestingly, the Saiyaara title tune has surpassed tunes by Billie Eilish (Birds of a Feather), Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars (Die with a Smile), Sabrina Carpenter (Manchild), and other artists on the charts.

Saiyara is cheered on by Alanna Panday and Ananya Panday

Saiyara's title track was included on the Top 50 Global chart by Spotify, and Ahaan's sister, influencer Alanna Panday, and cousin, actor Ananya Panday, immediately began campaigning for the song to move up the rankings. "#Saiyaara hit Spotify Global Charts #7," Alanna wrote in a screenshot of the song's position at #7 on the list. "Saiyaara on global charts top 50 on Spotify, how crazy! I'm doing my bit to take it to number 1 now. Let's do it India #OnLoop."
