The pre-release party of the Telugu film Junior, starring Sreeleela and Genelia D'Souza, was just attended by filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The filmmaker, who had previously collaborated with Genelia in 2004, was continuously complimenting her attractiveness during the event, and a video of their reunion has gone viral.

Genelia Deshmukh, according to SS Rajamouli

In reference to Genelia, SS Rajamouli said, "Genelia, you are frozen in time, man. How many years have gone by, yet you still look the same? The same elegance, the same beauty. The cinematographer Senthil even told me that we would see a new Genelia in this. I'm anticipating it with great excitement."

Additionally, a video of the filmmaker meeting Genelia right after arriving at the event has also surfaced online. Rajamouli is seen chatting with the actor in the video, and Genelia seemed thrilled, suggesting that he complimented her throughout their conversation.

In the 2004 film Sye, Rajamouli and Genelia collaborated. Nithin, Pradeep Rawat, and Shashank also played significant roles in the Telugu sports action movie. The movie was a box office hit and took home four Nandi Awards.

Concerning Junior

Radhakrishna Reddy directs the film, which features Rao Ramesh, V. Ravichandran, and Achyuth Kumar in key roles, among others, as well as Genelia Deshmukh, Sreeleela, and Kireeti Reddy in the main cast. The movie is about a young man named Abhi (Kireeti), who is employed by Vijay Soujanya (Genelia). He quickly learns something startling about her and his father's history.

The eagerly awaited picture SSMB 29, which Rajamouli is now working on, is slated to be an action-adventure in the style of Indiana Jones, with Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the key characters.

Genelia will next appear in the film Raja Shivaji, which also features Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Fardeen Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Bhagyashree, and Amol Gupte. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 1, 2026.
