Reddit provides several reasons why people are losing interest in Kapil's program

(Everything has its place),” one individual said. "Kapil's program was never intended for Netflix. They undoubtedly did it for the money, but Netflix will never be able to compete with Indian television. His reruns are still shown on television in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. The audience is not OTT. Simply put, theirs is not an OTT audience. "Netflix audience is different than the regular audience. He should come back to Sony Liv," said one person, agreeing.

But one individual thought the problem was that the jokes in the program were no longer amusing: "The new episodes just aren't funny." "The earlier episodes with Dr Gulati and Arora Saab were far funnier and more entertaining to view." “I was surprised I didn’t even laugh at Sunil Grover’s performance,” another wrote in agreement.

In fact, one Redditor criticized the show's producers for turning to double entendre jokes since it debuted on Netflix, saying, "And moving to Netflix increased the double meaning jokes.. when they were on sony they were actually focusing on content and script but now they are more focused around doing double meaning jokes which is moving towards vulgar, random acts." "Honestly, the jokes are cringe and the drag men shtick has run it's course," one redditor concurred.

"I have Netflix and my parents used to watch CID crime patrol and Kapil's show on tv but they don't watch it on Netflix," some people said, arguing that the audience for Kapil's program on TV could not be replicated on OTT. "We'll watch good films on Netflix and shows like this on TV."
