A quick Google search for 'actors from Coorg' turns up a list of performers who have achieved success in the film business, including Gulshan Devaiah, Prema, and Varsha Bollamma. For this reason, the Kodava community is upset with Rashmika Mandanna for saying she is "probably the first actor" from Coorg to break into the industry. As did actor Neravanda Prema, others were quick to point out her mistakes.

When asked about Rashmika's remarks, well-known Kannada actor Neravanda Prema, who was popular in the 1990s and early 2000s, replied, "What is there for me to say? Nonetheless, she highlighted that others had prepared the ground for Rashmika's debut in the film industry long before she did. "Shashikala from Coorg, an actor who played supporting roles, was ahead of me. Later, I joined the film business, and since then, numerous Kodavas have excelled in it," stated Prema, who has had a successful career in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film and has won the Filmfare Best Actress Award and the Karnataka State Film Award.

Rashmika Mandanna's lack of knowledge is exposed by internet calls

People also responded to her assertion on YouTube and other social media networks by criticizing her lack of knowledge. One individual noted, "She is not the first frm kodava community...before that, many artists have behaved like prema, nidhi subbaih, harishika poonacha, and tanisha kuppanda."

"She is the only actress who lies in front of the media and the public..." “She is the first actress who came from Coorg city…” is a statement. "A completely untrue assertion... More than five to six of the actresses that came from Coorg..." Another wrote, "Even she not born when “Prema madam” act in OM Kannada movie who from Coorg.

"Maybe you are the only one who thinks you have made it big, Rashmika," wrote an irate admirer. Absolutely, but you have also neglected to mention Gulshan Devaiah's success.
