The age gap between Sara Arjun and Ranveer Singh was criticized

Reddit users immediately started debating the video after it was released on Sunday. Despite the movie's plot and character specifics still being kept under wraps, several social media users have expressed hope that Sara Arjun and Ranveer Singh are not cast as the main romantic leads.

"As a result, I just watched the teaser/trailer of Ranveer Singh's upcoming film, and the trailer is quite promising, the ensemble is superb, the aesthetics are okay, and the bgm is also excellent. The star of this film, however, is only 20 years old! On the other hand, Ranveer is 40 years old! One blog post asked, "Isn't it kind of frightening given that she's still quite young, even if she's been in the industry for a long time (as a child artist)?"

"She is 20, but age gap with Ranveer is also 20," read one remark, while another said, "Sara Arjun is way too young to be Ranveer Singh's love interest, but the movie looks awesome tbh."

"I don't want to offend him, but he resembles her uncle more than a love interest. The age difference is glaringly apparent. One social media user described it as "a truly mismatched pairing."

One social media user stated, "I hope they aren't romantically linked across from one another... otherwise, ugh," and another said, "I hope it's part of some mission." If they're dating, I won't be shocked once more. Nearly every one of the actors made their debut in their teens opposite actors that were twice their age.

Dhurandhar is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Lokesh Dhar, and it is a B62 Studios production presented by Jio Studios. Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal are some of the other actors who star in the movie alongside Ranveer and Sara. The movie is thought to be based on the life of Ajit Doval, an Indian super spy and National Security Advisor (NSA) who is well known for carrying out surgical strikes.
