The Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is one of the most anticipated movies in Indian film, and expectations are rising day by day. The captivating background music created by Oscar-winning composers AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer was what really took center stage, despite the fact that the filmmakers just released a fascinating first look featuring the main characters. The selfie that AR Rahman posted on Instagram with Hans Zimmer on Friday had the caption "#ramayanamovie With @hanszimmer." The image gained popularity fast and elicited responses from famous people and followers alike. "Iconic" is what actor Lauren Gottlieb said about them, while vocalist Armaan Malik described them as "legends."

The picture quickly went viral on Reddit, eliciting a flood of love and laughter. "Cute," one user said. This is such a picture of a dad. "Ram milayi jodi," added another. Other responses were "Ram ne bana di jodi" (Ram created the pair), "Too much talent in one frame," and "Two Hans-on ka joda" (Two swans). In fact, one amusing supporter even created a hashtag for the couple called "#Zimmerman."

Hans Zimmer is well-known as one of the most legendary film score composers in Hollywood, famous for his influential scores for movies like Interstellar, Inception, and Dune. For The Lion King (1994) and Dune (2021), he has received two Academy Awards. At the 81st Academy Awards in 2009, AR Rahman, popularly known as the "Mozart of Madras," won two Oscars for Slumdog Millionaire. The pair's collaboration on Ramayana has greatly increased public expectations.

Concerning the Ramayana

The cast of Ramayana, which is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, features Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi in the role of Sita, Yash in the role of Ravana, Sunny Deol in the role of Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey in the role of Lakshman.

“I’ll react not as a director but as an audience, because I am also an avid movie watcher,” said director Nitesh Tiwari at the first glimpse launch on Thursday. The feelings and pride for the rich cultural legacy of our nation are what matter most to me. To me, it would be an accomplishment if we could convey that to the entire globe, as it represents our values. The movie will be released in two installments: the first will be available in theaters on Diwali 2026, and the second will follow on Diwali 2027.
