Ram Kapoor Responds After Being Dropped from "Mistry" Promotions Over Controversial Comments

After making sexually inappropriate and insulting comments against the marketing team and publicist, Ram Kapoor was recently fired from promoting his forthcoming program Mistry. The actor has now responded to the uproar, admitting that he made the remarks in question but maintaining that they were never meant to be offensive.
In a recent interview with an online media, the actor addressed the issue and expressed regret.
Ram declares, "Guilty as charged."
"First, I'd like to state that I have said everything I've been accused of saying. The reality is, therefore, that I am guilty of the accusation. However, I must state in my defense that this is the case. I have a tendency to be myself whenever I'm around people I'm at ease with. I don't intend to be rude, and everyone who knows me and has worked with me knows that is who I am. Not even once did I experience that feeling during the day. We were having fun and joking around. I would have addressed it immediately if I had sensed they were offended. If I thought those statements were insulting, why would I say them in public? Ram asked.
Ram realized the effect of his remarks, especially on the team's younger members, as he gave the problem greater thought.
The bottom line is that those team members, who are half my age, were genuinely offended by the remarks I made in good faith, and that is not acceptable. In addition to my followers, I have my son who admires me and learns from me. I want to urge everyone not to question me. From the perspective of the OTT service, some issues were thought to be at fault, and from their perspective, this is understandable. Because it will teach me a lesson, I don't hold them responsible for adopting this position. "I admire their choice, and I will make an effort to personally apologize to each of the team members who were hurt that day," Ram stated.
Ram's remarks throughout the Mistry campaign
Ram gave several interviews as part of the media promotions for Mistry, which took place at a hotel in Mumbai last Thursday. The actor allegedly made a joke about kissing a male member of the show's marketing team and said that his mother "should have gone to sleep" rather than giving birth to him.
Furthermore, in front of a reporter, Ram compared the interview experience to feeling "gang-raped" and made references to sexual positions in his remarks. The actor also made a comment on the attire of some of the female crew members at the location, saying, "How can I not look if they are in my line of sight?"
