Recently, there has been a lot of media attention on the alleged breakup between producer Ekta Kapoor and actor Ram Kapoor, which was caused by Ram's remarks regarding the close scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The tension is now covered by Ram.

Ram's relationship with Ekta is strained.

During an interview with NDTV, Ram discussed the widely publicized argument with producer Ekta Kapoor. Ram did not ignite the flame; rather, he kept quiet and avoided making any disparaging remarks about Ekta in public. Ram has collaborated with Ekta on shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Kasamh Se.

"She can say whatever she wants, but I won't say anything," he said. Because, after all, she gave me what no one else gave me. When no one else did, she trusted in me. And I will always be appreciative of that. Until the conclusion of my career, she is free to express anything she pleases about me.

The actor also responded to his wife Gautami's enigmatic tweet, describing it as friendly joking. Evidently, Gautami reacted by mocking Ekta's remarks on Ram's weight reduction.

"My wife knows where I stand," Ram stated during the interview. The whole thing was just for fun...You can't forget what someone has done for you.

What evidence do we have of the purported split?

The divide began when Ram stated in an interview that Ekta should handle the fallout from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain's romantic moments. "Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up," Ekta retorted on social media. Lies and distorted narratives will only last until I speak. However, there is dignity in silence.

Posting a video with the program title "Hum bade hi acche lagte hain" and joking about weight loss and body image, Ekta made what seems to be yet another dig at Ram's physical makeover.

What does Ram have planned next?

After making headlines for his dramatic weight reduction, Ram will next appear in the detective series Mistry. Mistry, the Indian version of the multi-award-winning American show Monk, will be released on JioHotstar on June 27. Mistry is directed by Rishab Seth and produced by Banijay Asia in conjunction with Universal International Studios. The main cast features Mona Singh as the brave ACP Sehmat Siddiqui, Shikha Talsania, and Kshitish Date.
