According to a PeepingMoon story, Rajkummar Rao has verbally agreed to collaborate with Karan Johar and Sandeep Modi on their upcoming film. The movie, which is described as a thriller-drama with elements of comedy and suspense, has not yet been signed by the performer. Not all of the remaining actors have signed on for the film yet.

Karan Johar and Sandeep Modi were supposed to collaborate with Kartik Aaryan on a historical action-drama. Because the two genres are distinct, we may conclude that it is not the same endeavor. Although Rajkummar Rao is currently expected to take on that film in Sandeep Modi's Hindi directorial debut, it will still take place. Karan Johar and the director of Chumbak (Swanand Kirkire) have been discussing potential opportunities, and at last, it has come to pass!

Rajkummar Rao has a busy schedule prior to starting production on this film. Soon, the actor will begin filming his satirical drama alongside Keerthy Suresh. In addition, he will star in Vikramaditya Motwane's biopic of Sourav Ganguly. Only after that can the Aligarh actor begin production on the picture by Sandeep Modi and Karan Johar (around October).

The release of Maalik is anticipated by Rajkummar Rao. On July 11, the action thriller will be released in theaters. The Netflix series may be released by the end of the year, as the actor has completed Toaster as well.
