For his remarks about cricketer Virat Kohli, singer Rahul Vaidya caused a stir last month. Following the singer's remark, which suggested that Virat Kohli liked a piece dedicated to Avneet Kaur, Rahul said that the cricketer had blocked him. Additionally, he said that Kohli's supporters had insulted him and his family. Following this occurrence, Virat's brother Vikas Kohli got in touch with Rahul and inquired as to why he used the cricketer's name, as Rahul has now revealed in a recent interview with Instant Bollywood.

What Rahul Vaidya stated

"His brother had told me some things after the incident," Rahul said in Hindi during the discussion. "Isse accha aap apni singing pe dhyaan dijiye (Better that you focus on your singing)." He is the same Vikas Kohli who had complimented my singing when he met me outside a stadium in Manchester. Because these minor disputes also affect the person's family, I understand how it feels. Because he didn't like anything that was going on, he told me everything.

Why are you seeking publicity?

"Why are you talking about Virat? Why are you looking for publicity?" Vikas asked him, and I don't recall the precise words, but he said something similar to this. Then he said, "Isse achha to aap apne singing pe dhyan dete (Better that you focus on your singing)." I've never taken anything Vikas said to heart because I know he's a decent man. Since the issue is that people merely want to react without even understanding what the matter is.

The tale begins when Rahul makes a remark implying that Virat liked a post about Avneet. Then Rahul asserts that Virat has blocked him. After that, he posted on his Instagram Stories, "Virat Kohli's fans are even bigger jokers than Virat!" and added that Kohli supporters were sending him abusive messages. A few days later, Rahul announced that Virat had unblocked him on Instagram. Rahul described Virat as "one of the greatest batsmen" the game has ever produced and thanked him profusely.
