The gruesome murder of 25-year-old former junior tennis player Radhika Yadav, who was fatally shot by her father, Deepak Yadav, at their Gurugram home on July 10, has been denounced by Richa Chadha, an actress from Bollywood. The nation has been shocked by the occurrence, particularly when information indicates the murder was motivated by patriarchal anger and societal pressure.

The offense was condemned by Richa.

Richa used her official X (formerly Twitter) account on July 13 to condemn the crime and the alarming tendency of individuals trying to rationalize it. In response to a video posted by Himanshikha Singh Rajput, Radhika's friend, Himanshikha Singh Rajput, revealed that Radhika was frequently mocked for wearing shorts, speaking to males, and living on her own.

"It is not honorable to murder one's own child." Now, everyone will always think of Deepak Yadav as a loser, even if a few gossiping people said things to him earlier. "Deepak Yadav, you have cemented your place as a LOSER and a COWARD in the annals of history," Richa wrote.

"Losers, too," Richa retorted, after another user pointed out that certain males were supporting the crime.

Deepak Yadav admitted to the murder, which police reports claim was motivated by his anger at being financially dependent on his daughter and by societal ridicule. Radhika, who was the family's main source of income and operated a tennis school, was shot four times—three times in the back and once in the shoulder.

Regarding the murder of tennis player Radhika Yadav, the Gurugram police said Sunday that they are not seeking statements from friends or anyone else who is posting condolences and accusations on social media. The case was described by officials as "open and shut," and they said that the charge sheet is being drafted on the basis of strong forensic evidence and witness accounts.
