Raashii Khanna Opens Up About Travel Anxiety After Air India Crash: ‘It’s Like Holding Your Breath’

Since the crash of the London-bound flight AI171 in Ahmedabad, which has made many people wonder about the safety of air travel, actress Raashii Khanna claims to have been struggling with travel anxiety. She said that recent news headlines have increased her anxieties about flying, causing her to feel uncomfortable while traveling.

Raashii uploaded a collection of photos from the airport on Instagram on Sunday as she got ready to board a plane. These days, she said, she has trouble with travel anxiety.
“There’s a lot of unrest in the world... All flights now seem heavier, not only because of the skies but also because of the news we bring with us, Raashii added.
"Travel used to be escape," she continued. It feels like holding your breath lately. Is anybody else experiencing this fear of traveling as well?
Social media fans began posting comments on Raashii's Instagram photo as soon as she uploaded it.

Regarding the aircraft disaster involving Air India
Moments after departing from Ahmedabad for London with 242 people on board, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner struck a medical college dormitory in Meghaninagar on June 12. Seated in 11A, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh was the only survivor of the disaster, which killed 241 people, including 169 Indians, 53 British citizens, 7 Portuguese nationals, and one Canadian. He sustained only minor injuries. The overall death toll, including ground deaths, was 260, with 241 of the 242 passengers killed.
