The thrilling conclusion of Prime Video's Hindi version of the BAFTA- and Emmy-winning series The Traitors, which only has one episode left, will air this Thursday, July 3, at 8 p.m. IST. From Rajasthan's Suryagarh Palace, where the 10-episode season debuted on June 12, Karan Johar served as the host. Only a few candidates are still competing for the ₹1 crore pot prize.

A game of allegiance, elimination, and lies.

Before they even arrived to the castle, some of the 20 well-known candidates had been secretly labeled "traitors." Before the moles could be killed by poisoning and murder, the remaining people, known as the "innocents," had to find them and get rid of them. The well-known figures who have been exiled or murdered in the last nine episodes include Raj Kundra, Lakshmi Manchu, and Raftaar, leaving only a small number of people to contend for the last vote. The regulations are straightforward: if all the innocent are revealed, they split the pot equally; if only one traitor remains until the last vote, they get the money all to themselves.

Two 23-year-old content producers, Apoorva Mukhija and Purav Jha, formed an unexpected friendship despite the widespread mistrust between them. Earlier in the run, Purav admitted that the relationship had grown so quickly, saying, "Mujhe Apoorva ko leke bohot waise lag raha hai." "Woh best friend ban chuki hai meri… Ek dil se dil ka connection ho chuka hai," he said. "She has become my best friend, and we have a heart-to-heart connection."

When a cold approach is used, emotions tend to become more intense.

That confession stood out in a programme that promoted cold reasoning. But the genuine emotional impact occurs in the series finale. Purav gently apologizes to Apoorva, who was threatened with expulsion in episode 9, in the promotional materials for the next show, saying, "I am really sorry," and "Mereko terese attachment bohot zyada hai yaar," which translates to, "I am very attached to you, buddy."

His apologies imply regret and self-doubt, which, for someone who is still competing for the ₹1 crore check, demonstrates an unexpected vulnerability. Some are questioning whether he will let his emotions affect his ultimate strategic decisions.

The last job for the shield

The competition's last shield task will take place in the last episode, prior to the round table vote that decides the winner. The innocent must, on the other hand, do the opposite of what any remaining traitor must convince them to do, which is to banish one of their own. The unveiling and ultimate check writing will be done by Karan Johar.

The grand finale will be broadcast only on Prime Video on July 3 at 8 p.m., and episodes 1–9 are already accessible there. All episodes will be available on demand after the program, so even those who arrive late can catch up. The last chapter of The Traitors predicts that there will be less strategy and more heartbreak, as friendships are shattered and ₹ 1 crore is on the line—just as happens when lies clash with genuine emotions.
