Prosenjit Chatterjee on falling into despair following his divorce
"Ek samay aaya tha, mai kaam kam kar raha tha (There was a time when I was working less)," Prosenjit said of the emotional impact of his divorce. I wasn't working well because I was a little down. Although we were just children at the time, we pointed fingers at each other. Following that breakup, I was in a situation where I wasn't coming out. The most well-known newspaper in Bengal, meanwhile, published a list of Bengal actors. I was in that depressive state, and I wasn't included in the 1–10 list.

How Prosenjit Chatterjee handled the scenario
He said, "I signed nine movies the day I returned to the set. It is not me, it is my blessing. Mera character aisa hai (That is my character)."" He remembered how he handled the situation. In my opinion, expressing emotions is pointless. However, everyone has their own space; I have a little garden, and that's my space. I avoid speaking to anyone. For me, those thirty days were crucial in regaining my sense of self. Crying is pointless.
Prosenjit and Debashree were friends since they were kids. Following his divorce, Prosenjit fell in love once more with Aparna Guha Thakurta, with whom he had a daughter, Prerona Chatterjee. But his second marriage also ultimately broke up.
Prosenjit's most recent appearance in the Netflix series Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, however, was on the professional front. His next film will be Maalik, a gangster action thriller that will be released in theaters on July 11 and also features Manushi Chhillar and Medha Shankr in significant roles. The movie is directed by Pulkit and produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani.
