After the success of his 2024 film Varshangalkku Shesham, Malayalam actor and director Vineeth Sreenivasan is getting ready to release his next directorial. After two successful ventures, Vineeth has reunited with producer Visakh Subramaniam for his most recent endeavor. September 2025 is the intended release date for the forthcoming Malayalam film. However, Visakh has now disclosed that they had originally intended the picture for an Onam 2025 release. The delay is due to Mohanlal's picture Hridayapoorvam, which will be released during Onam.

Because of Mohanlal's Hridayapoorvam, the release of Vineeth Sreenivasan's film has been postponed

For Hridayam and Varshangalkku Shesham, the young producer Visakh Subramaniam has worked with Vineeth Sreenivasan. Vishakh told The Cue Studio about his third partnership with Vineeth that they had first intended for an Onam release, but they decided against it in order to avoid a conflict with Mohanlal's Hridayapoorvam. For the Pooja holidays, the unnamed movie is currently scheduled for release on September 25, 2025.

"Vieenth and I have known him for many years. "We wanted to avoid a collision with a Lalettan movie and switched the release date to Pooja," Visakh Subramaniam informed The Cue Studio.

The movie, which is billed as a thriller, stars Noble Babu Thomas in the main role. Jomon T John, the cinematographer, and Shaan Rahman, the music director, are also returning. Vineeth Sreenivasan, who is more known for his lighthearted films, directed his last thriller picture, Thira, in 2013.

It's worth mentioning that Mohanlals son Pranav Mohanlal appeared in Vineeth Sreenivasan's most recent two films as director, Hridayam and Varshangalkku Shesham.

On the other hand, Mohanlal’s upcoming film Hridayapoorvam is slated to hit theatres as an Onam release. The film reunites him with veteran Malayalam director Sathyan Anthikad, increasing the excitement around the project. Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead along with Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame, which also features Sangita Madhavan Nair.
