Priyanka Chopra, along with her brother Siddharth Chopra, expressed condolences for the passing of their uncle Raman Rai Handa, the father of Mannara Chopra. Priyanka and Siddharth wrote messages on their Instagram Stories in remembrance of their 'fufaji' (uncle).

Priyanka wrote, "Rest easy, Raman uncle (fufaji). You'll always be in our hearts." "Om Shanti." Siddharth re-shared Mannara's earlier posted statement. He said, "Will miss you Raman uncle (folded hands emoji)."

Regarding Raman Rai Handa and the final ceremonies

Mannara's father, Advocate Raman Rai Handa, passed away in Mumbai on Monday at the age of 71. "With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025," she said in an official statement on her Instagram Stories. "He was our family's pillar of strength."

The last rites for Raman Rai Handa will be held on June 18 at 1 p.m. at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli, Andheri West, Mumbai. Handa was a lawyer at the Delhi High Court. His daughters Mannara and Mitali, as well as his wife Kamini, survive him. According to the news agency ANI, Raman had been unwell for the last few days for unknown reasons.

Mannara's Bollywood debut was in the movie Zid, which had little impact at the box office. She then joined the South Indian film industry. She also took part in the reality programs Bigg Boss 17 and Laughter Chefs - Unlimited Entertainment Season 2, which were hosted by Salman Khan.

Regarding Priyanka's future endeavors

John Cena and Idris Elba will join Priyanka in Heads of State. In The Bluff, she is scheduled to portray a Caribbean pirate from the 19th century. Fans will also see Priyanka in the eagerly anticipated web series Citadel 2. The second season, which was set to premiere this year, has been delayed "to a spring 2026 debut." Priyanka will reportedly appear in SS Rajamouli's next movie alongside Mahesh Babu.
