At the age of 18, Priyanka Chopra, who most recently starred in Heads of State, began her acting career by representing India and taking home the title of Miss World 2000. The actor was questioned by India Today about whether she could recall a time when she was completely captivated by the enchantment of the film. When she saw Mani Ratnam's 1995 movie Bombay, Priyanka claimed she had such a memory.

Priyanka remembered the precise moment she saw the movie in Mumbai during the conversation. "I didn't really grow up watching a lot of movies," she stated. My father enjoyed Bollywood music, so we always had it on. In Bombay, I watched the movie Bombay at a crucial turning point in my life. Before then, we used to do it every day at home.

"I was 12 or something, early teens," she continued. Although it was a really heavy movie for a young person, I was simply overwhelmed by it, and every time I see it, I still think of that. I had my first experience in a movie theater. I'll never forget the sensation of watching something so potent with other people.

Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala appeared in the Tamil musical drama Bombay. It was the second entry in Mani Ratnam's trilogy of films that included Dil Se (1998) and Roja (1992), all of which took place against the backdrop of Indian politics. AR Rahman wrote the score for the Bombay music album. The movie's music became a chartbuster and has since gained a devoted fan base. Additionally, Bombay took home two National Awards for Best Editing and Best Feature Film on National Integration.

Priyanka co-stars with Idris Elba and John Cena in the Amazon Prime Video movie Heads of State, which was made available on Prime Video on July 2.

She will also portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in The Bluff. The highly anticipated web series Citadel 2 will also feature Priyanka. The second season, which was supposed to come out this year, has been pushed back to "a spring 2026 debut." It is said that Priyanka would be appearing with Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli's next movie.
