Priyadarshan Reveals Paresh Rawal's Surprise Apology for Exiting Hera Pheri 3 Due to Personal Reasons

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has, in a pleasant twist, affirmed his comeback to the popular comedy series Hera Pheri 3, many months after first declaring his departure. In a recent interview with Mid-Day, director Priyadarshan discussed his response to Paresh's return to the group and how the original three members—Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh—eventually reconciled their differences.
Priyadarshan received a sincere apology from Paresh Rawal.
In an interview with Priyadarshan, Paresh admitted that he had apologized for quitting the movie, adding, "Both Akshay and Paresh called to say that everything is sorted." Paresh stunned me by saying, "Sir, I'm making the movie." "I have never had anything but a great deal of respect for you," he continued. "I've made 26 films with you, and I regret quitting the production. "There were some personal issues," he explained, adding that he, Akshay, and Suniel got along well and resolved the situation.

Under pressure, Priyadarshan will direct Hera Pheri 3.
"Whatever I do, I cannot surpass Hera Pheri [2000]," the director said, adding that he would now sit down and compose the script. The second section [Phir Hera Pheri, 2006] was a rip-off of a Hollywood film and was awful. None of the three main characters can be missing from Hera Pheri. Recently, a diamond dealer and his family approached me on a flight and begged me to bring Paresh back. Otherwise, they declared that they would not view the movie.
Paresh announced in May that he was no longer involved with Hera Pheri 3, saying that "it's not the role he wants to do right now." His choice caused consternation and dismay among fans, many of whom thought the movie should be shelved without Baburao's character. After this, Akshay Kumar, who is also the movie's producer, filed a lawsuit against Paresh for leaving abruptly.
But in a recent podcast interview with Himanshu Mehta, Paresh announced his return, saying, "Pehle bhi aane hi waali thi (Earlier too the film was scheduled to release), but it’s just that we had to fine-tune ourselves (laughs)." After all, Priyadarshan, Akshay, and Suniel are all creative. For many, many, many years, they have been friends.
Now that Akshay, Paresh, and Suniel Shetty—the original trio of the franchise—are back together on screen in Hera Pheri 3, fans are ecstatic. The timeless humor, memorable characters, and dialogues of the Hera Pheri series are well-known. In 2000, Priyadarshan's Hera Pheri, which first introduced the audience to the comedic trio of Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty), and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal), marked the start of the franchise.
For its witty writing and comedic timing, the movie soon gained a cult following and became a huge hit. Neeraj Vora's Phir Hera Pheri, a sequel to its triumph, was released in 2006. Despite not garnering the same critical praise as the original, it was a commercial hit.
