Preity Zinta, an actress and co-owner of the Punjab Kings (PBKS), is thrilled that her team is going to the IPL finals for the first time in ten years. In the IPL 2025 Qualifier 2 match, which was played at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, the Punjab Kings defeated the Mumbai Indians. To commemorate the significant victory over the grueling match in advance of the finals, Preity shared a number of images of her team players on Monday.

Following the game, Preity posted a collection of images to commemorate her team's well-deserved win. In the first image, Marcus Stoinis and Shreyas Iyer paused to consider the match. In another photo, Yuzvendra Chahal is seen fist-pumping after getting the vital wicket of Suryakumar Yadav.

"Wow what a win Punjabi aa gaye oye (red heart emoticon @punjabkingsipl)," Preity wrote in the caption. She also included hashtags like PBKSvMI, IPL2025, Sadda Punjab, and Bas Jeetna Hai.

About the IPL Final

For the first time in 11 weeks, the Punjab Kings are headed to the IPL finals following Sunday's game. Shreyas Iyer's 87*(41) was instrumental in this victory as PBKS pursued Mumbai's 204. Afterward, in the dressing room, Iyer and Ness Wadia, the owner of Punjab, chopped a cake to mark the team's second IPL final appearance.

This year, the IPL 2025 is certain to have a different champion. The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the championship game on June 3 between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS).
