Prajaakta Koli, a YouTuber-turned-actor, was featured in TIME Magazine's first-ever TIME 100 Creators list, which highlights the most influential digital content producers in the world. The only Indian listed is the actor, author, content producer, and activist, who is also joined by well-known figures like Jay Shetty, the British novelist of Indian descent, Marques Brownlee, the tech YouTuber, and Charli D'Amelio, the well-known TikTok celebrity.

TIME 100 Creators list includes Prajakta Koli.

The list, which debuted this year and showcases artists from all platforms, is the first and only one to include an Indian-born artist, Prajakta. Among others, she was included in the Entertainment category alongside Heidi Wong, Taylen Biggs, and Taylor Frankie Paul. Prajakta, also known as Mostly Sane, seems to have reached this point thanks to her 8 million Instagram followers and 7 million YouTube subscribers.

Prajakta Koli calls the recognition ‘humbling’

“It is both humbling and incredibly meaningful to be recognized as the first Indian creator on TIME's inaugural TIME100 Creators List,” Prajakta Koli said in a statement. Regarding Prajakta Koli

Prajakta began her YouTube channel in 2015, and she has since achieved notoriety and recognition for her comedic timing and other skills. She made her acting debut in the Netflix series Mismatched and the 2020 short film Khayali Pulao in the same year. In addition to programs like Zindaginama and Andhera, she has also appeared in movies like Jugjugg Jeeyo and Neeyat. She has become a fan favorite as Dimple Ahuja in Mismatched, which is currently in its third season.
