Pawan Kalyan, an actor and politician, is one of the Tollywood celebrities well-known for not promoting his forthcoming movies on social media or in person. To be honest, the actor says that he finds it difficult to recall the last time he spoke to the media in order to publicize a movie. In order to advertise Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM), Pawan spoke at a press conference in Hyderabad that was very seldom attended, during which he reassured the public that the movie was not the product of ‘arrogance’.

Pawan Kalyan promoting movies

"It feels a little odd to talk without a podium," Pawan explained when asked why he doesn't market his films. I don't recall the last occasion I used the media to publicize a movie. I'm hesitant to promote my films and toot my own horn. I'm not sure what to say because of my arrogance. For AM Rathnam garu (the producer), I made the choice to discuss this movie today.

Additionally, Pawan referred to himself as an "accidental actor" and said that in the beginning of his career, his producers and the media thought he was not "sellable," thus he became accustomed to not promoting movies. "I believed I would die when they asked me to dance on a bus in Suswaghatam." I told my sister-in-law (Surekha, who is married to my brother Chiranjeevi) that I couldn't perform any longer. I was deemed unsellable when I first started out. My images were not even published in magazines. Consequently, I became accustomed to avoiding promoting my movies.

In a candid admission, the actor-politician said that, despite his fame in politics and familiarity throughout the nation, he is still behind his peers in the field. He also said that he is not "chatty" unless the conversation is about politics, and added, "You don't need to talk about a movie if it's good." There's no need to do it if it's bad.
