In a promotional interview with Club FM for Pavi Caretaker, his most recent film, Vineeth Kumar called it an intense love story. He listed some fascinating details and the fact that the film belongs to the romantic comedy drama genre.

This movie presents a unique perspective on love. The main character, Pavithran, also known as Pavi, is a middle-aged man who discovers love by accident, he explained. The actor and director also mentioned how the music gives the movie enough energy and humorous moments.

Dileep as a producer of Pavi Caretaker

He said it is a blessing to have a producer who has extensive knowledge of the film industry. In addition to starring in the lead role, Dileep is the producer of this comedy drama, which opens in theatres on April 26. Dileep promptly consented to reschedule the song sequence after the director brought up an earlier incident that he wanted to reshoot. "In my previous two directorials, Dear Friend and Ayal Njanalla, I felt similarly at ease working with producers," he remarked.

The young director claims that Dileep's previous experience working with dogs proved to be beneficial for this movie. The labrador in this movie, he continued, delivered some surprisingly good shots.

About Pavithran in Pavi Caretaker

Vineeth stated that he was inspired to work on this film by scriptwriter Rajesh's description of Pavithran, the main character. He called Pavi a middle-aged man who was disciplined. He has never been in a relationship and has his own insecurities. The essential quality of Pavi is an outdated perspective on life," he continued.

Devadoothan’s re-release

In the 2000 film Devadoothan, starring Mohanlal, Vineeth Kumar had a significant role. The movie will soon be rereleased in superior-quality in theatres. The actor talked about how happy he was about the film's rerelease.

He also talked about how his death sequence in Devadoothan—which terrified him—was due to his fear of dogs. For this sequence, he said, there were multiple takes. The Kanmashi actor went on to say that he is pleased that the movie is still being talked about a lot after all these years.
