After being blocked for months amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane's Instagram account is now once again available to Indian users. Following the April terror attack in Pahalgam, which killed 26 people, her profile was initially blocked, but on Tuesday, a number of Instagram users said they were able to see it.
India may see the Mowra Hocane Instagram account
Following the assault, the Indian government banned all Pakistani artists from all media outlets, including their social media accounts, inside the nation. Despite the fact that Mawra's story has reappeared, Instagram profiles for other Pakistani stars such Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Atif Aslam, and Hania Aamir are still unavailable in India.

Mawra received criticism for labeling India's Operation Sindoor "cowardly" in a social media update. The statement fueled public anger and prompted the film business to widely disassociate itself from the performer.
Mawra posts a Sanam Teri Kasam reel
Coincidentally, only hours before her account was once again accessible, Mawra posted a fan-made reel on her Instagram story that highlighted her appearances in the 2016 Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam, the movie that first propelled her to stardom in India.

Mawra taken out of sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam
Since then, Mawra has been removed from the planned sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam. Harshvardhan Rane, a co-star, publicly declared that he would not be back for the sequel if the original cast remained the same. "While I am grateful for the experience, however, as things stand, and after reading the direct comments made about my country, I have decided to respectfully decline to be a part of Sanam Teri Kasam Part 2 if there is any possibility of the previous cast being repeated," Harshvardhan wrote on his Instagram.
Her dismissal from the franchise was later corroborated by directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, who stated, "Mawra definitely nahi hai" (Mawra is definitely not a part of it).
