The passing of veteran actor and former MLA Kota Srinivasa Rao caused heartbreak among celebrities and fans. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now honored the deceased actor by speaking to X (previously Twitter) on Sunday. In his letter, Prime Minister Modi stated that Kota Srinivasa Rao "will be remembered for his cinematic brilliance and versatility."

The PM reminisced about how the actor had "enthralled audiences across generations with his performances." "Anguished by the passing of Shri Kota Srinivas Rao Garu. He will be remembered for his cinematic brilliance and versatility," wrote PM Modi.

"His captivating performances captivated audiences of all ages. He was a pioneer in social service as well, advocating for the advancement of the underprivileged and oppressed. His family and numerous followers have our sympathies. He said, "Om Shanti."

Regarding Kota Srinivasa Rao

Kota Srinivasa Rao, who was born in an Andhra Pradesh neighborhood of Vijayawada city, passed away at the age of 83. He has played roles in more than 750 movies in several languages since his debut in 1978 with Pranam Khareedu. For his work in Indian film, he was also awarded the Padma Shri in 2015, India's fourth-highest civilian honor.

Following the news of his passing, a number of politicians, movie actors, and intimate friends started showing up at his home to offer their final respects. Among others seen expressing sympathy to the bereaved family were Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Prakash Raj, an actor, also paid his respects to the deceased by visiting his house. Allu Arjun's father, the film producer Allu Arvind, also came to pay his respects to the bereaved family. Arvind told the press, "Kota Srinivasa Rao was really close to our family.... I always looked forward to spending time with him because he was such a jovial person. Our family suffers from his death. I pray and hope that his soul finds peace.

On a social networking site, celebrities paid tribute to Kota Srinivasa Rao

Tributes started pouring in from actors, filmmakers, politicians, and supporters. Chiranjeevi referred to him as a "multifaceted genius" and published a lengthy statement on X, recalling his powerful screen presence and the "void" that his death has created. Ravi Teja, an actor who collaborated with Kota Srinivasa Rao in more than ten films, also shared his sorrow. I spent my childhood watching him, admiring him, and learning from each of his performances. I adored my time working with him in the city of Babai, which felt like home to me. "Rest in peace, Kota Srinivasa Rao garu Om Shanti," he tweeted on X.

On X, Vishnu Manchu posted an emotional message as well: "My heart is heavy with the loss of Sri. Kota Srinivas garu. A phenomenal actor, an unmatched talent, and a man whose presence lit up every frame he was in. With a rare mastery that few are fortunate to have, he brought life into every character, be it a villain, comedy, or serious role. I was fortunate to collaborate with him on a number of films, and I grew up watching him in many more. My love of film was influenced by his work.
