In Maalik, Anshumaan Pushka will be seen on the same screen as Rajkummar Rao. He spoke candidly about his time working with the actor. Raj has been a mentor-like friend to him, he said, assisting him with filming challenging moments in the film.

Regarding Rajkummar, Anshumaan claimed that he is one of his favorite performers, that he has been paying close attention to his career, and that working with him was a fantastic and educational opportunity.

"He's that mentor kind of good friend on set who makes your life easy every time. Anshumaan remarked that he is a star actor for the business, but his work ethics, dedication, and demeanor in interacting with his fellow actors are genuinely commendable..

Rajkummar Rao plays the lead role in the film, which is directed by Pulkit and stars Manushi Chhillar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Saurabh Shukla in significant supporting roles. The narrative centers on Malik's ascent to power, his ruthless aspirations, and the obstacles he encounters from law enforcement and competitors.
