In the midst of rumors that Cardi B and Stefon Diggs were breaking up, Cardi B's ex-husband Offset made an Instagram Live statement that raised suspicions.

On Sunday night, the Atlanta rapper appeared rather content as he declared, "You can't get rid of me." "I'm like cancer. The cancer can't be eradicated."

The live broadcast was timed to coincide with reports of Cardi B and Diggs' split. "I'm tougher than all you p######," said Offset, without naming anyone.

The timing of Offset's social media posts was perfect, as Cardi B's Instagram account saw the deletion of all images of Diggs, including those taken on their yacht and while on vacation in Paris.

As of Monday, July 7, the other content they uploaded had vanished, but Cardi B's picture was still on Diggs' page.

The couple made their relationship public in June, sharing cute photos and spending time together, after months of rumors.

Their connection appears to have begun in late 2024, as evidenced by friendly social media interactions and meeting one another at social gatherings.

Some people speculated that the breakup rumors were just a marketing gimmick, as Cardi B immediately cleaned up her Instagram account as she increased her promotion for her forthcoming album.

When Offset reacted to Cardi B & Stefon Diggs romance

Under one of Cardi's postings, Offset commented "good roll out on PR" after the original connection between Diggs and Cardi.

After seeing Cardi dancing with Diggs at Coachella, he proclaimed, "I'm happy for her!!" in late April.

However, a widely shared social media post alleging that Cardi was giving their kid Wave Diggs-style hairstyles led to him eventually deleting all of his social media profiles.

It's unclear what their relationship is right now because, despite the deletion of the posts, Cardi and Diggs continue to follow each other on Instagram.

In July 2024, Cardi B submitted her second petition for divorce from Offset after nearly seven years of marriage.
