As the film has dominated the box office rankings, Mohit Suri's Saiyaara is currently all over social media. Social media users are already blown away by the performance of Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, who made their debut in this YRF picture, and their electrifying on-screen chemistry has won over audiences. In the middle of all of this, Karan Johar posted an appreciation message for Saiyaara but was criticized for nepotism, which he deftly refuted.

Karan Johar responds to nepotism allegation

In a recent Instagram post, Karan Johar lauded Saiyaara, the film's main cast members, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, as well as other members of the production team. Nonetheless, one response to his piece gained notoriety since it addressed nepotism.

In response to the piece, that user wrote, "A gaya nepo kid ka daijaan (Nanny for nepo kids have come)." Karan retorted, "Chup kar!!! Don't let your negativity fester while you're at home! Check out what the kids are up to! And do some work yourself (Stop being negative in your own house! Observe the efforts of the two children! And get to work yourself!

Saiyara received high marks from Karan. According to him, Saiyaara brought him to tears while also giving him a great sense of happiness.

"I can't recall feeling like this after seeing a movie... "Tears streaming, but the sensation of great joy... Joy for the fact that a love story has captured the silver screen and won the hearts of the entire country," he exclaimed. Additionally, he gave YRF high marks.

KJo described Ahaan as "amazing" and Aneet Padda as "spectacular." He wrote the following for Ahaan: "What a debut @ahaanpandayy!!!!! Your eyes spoke volumes, and I can't wait to see your journey ahead." However, the filmmaker wrote for Aneet, "@aneetpadda_, you beautiful girl. You are so stunning and fantastic! Your silence was telling, and the combination of your vulnerability and power brought me to tears.

Sacnilk reports that Saiyaara has earned Rs. 83 crore after just three days. It has surpassed Kabir Singh's record of Rs. 70.83 crore after the third day.
