Nehab Bhasin, a singer well-known for her popular songs such as Kuch Khaas Hai, Dunki, and Jag Ghoomeya, just dropped a bombshell in an interview. Following body-shaming, the singer admitted that she tried to kill herself at the age of 20. She was then a member of the girl pop group Viva, along with Seema Ramchandani, Pratichee Mohapatra, Mahua Kamat, and Anushka Manchanda.

In an interview, Neha discussed her challenges throughout the Viva period

Neha remembered being put on fat burners in 2003, only a year after beginning her career, in a podcast with Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Bharti Singh. Due to her young age, she claimed she was ignorant of their consequences. In addition, the performer described a terrible event that occurred with the TV network Viva, with which they were contracted.

In the course of an argument, she said that a man from the network humiliated her by displaying a video in a conference room, drawing a circle around her tummy on the screen, and stating, "See, you are so fat." We are unable to publish the video as a result of this. At that point, I weighed 50 kg. I recall returning home and, in a fit of rage, drinking more than half a bottle of fat burners. I was attempting suicide that way. I was throwing up for two days. "The band was unaware of what transpired," Neha stated.

Neha has been outspoken about her health issues in recent years. She posted on social media in 2024 about her years-long struggle with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a disorder she has had since she was a teenager. Additionally, she said that in 2022, she was diagnosed with low progesterone, which has caused her to have trouble functioning for around half of the month.

Neha is a versatile Indian playback singer and performer with a strong voice. Her first rise to fame came in 2002 when she was a member of Viva, India's first all-girl pop band, which was created during the Coke [V] Popstars reality series. Following the group's dissolution, Neha established a successful solo career throughout Bollywood, Tollywood, and the indie music scene.
