Amazon Prime Video released the fourth season of Panchayat this week with great fanfare. Neena Gupta, a member of the cast, is among the first to acknowledge that Panchayat, one of the most well-liked Indian streaming series right now, has had a lasting influence on contemporary popular culture, including a number of "copycats."

Regarding Panchayat's success

The seasoned actor discusses the show's influence and legacy in Indian entertainment during a conversation with the an online media about the promotion of Panchayat season 4. Regarding the triumph the Panchayat has achieved, Neena states, "I never would have imagined that it would be so successful. We all agreed to it because the writing was excellent. I knew a lot of the actors, and they were all excellent. I enjoyed it, but I never expected it to be such a huge hit.

On 'chhote gaun ki kahaaniyan'

The tale centers around Abhishek (Jitendra Kumar), an MBA candidate who is chosen as the Panchayat Secretary in Phulera, a rural community. In the show, Neena Gupta portrays Manju Devi, the leader of the Panchayat. Neena claims that the proliferation of rooted stories on streaming is "a golden phase for actors as well as writers and filmmakers." But these days, everybody wants to tell the tale of chhote gaon ki (the story of a small village). This occurs. Everyone creates the same thing whenever something is popular.

The entire cast of Panchayat is "proud" to be a part of it, according to Neena. "We are all like a family here. Everyone fits and is recognized in the ensemble cast. "You can't ask for more from a show," she says.
