The 65th birthday of renowned actor and Padma Bhushan recipient Nandamuri Balakrishna was observed with great fervor and reverence at Akhilandam, close to Tirumala. B. Sridhar Varma, the State Media Coordinator for the Telugu Desam Party, headed the gathering, which drew the attention of both followers and supporters.

The festivities included the ritual breaking of 650 coconuts and a magnificent harathi that utilized 6.5 kg of camphor, resulting in a heavenly ambiance. On this day, Sridhar Varma lauded Balakrishna for his successful film career as well as his charitable endeavors through the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, which has been providing outstanding healthcare to the community.

Additionally, he said that prayers were made to Lord Venkateswara, asking for Balakrishna's long life, good health, and wealth so that he might keep helping others in more ways.
