In a small wedding in Hyderabad on Friday, the son of Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, Akhil Akkineni, wed Zainab Ravdjee, an artist and entrepreneur. In a new Instagram post, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have now welcomed the newlywed pair into the family.

The newlyweds are seen standing next to Naga and Sobhita in a new photograph. In the joyful family portrait, Amala and Nagarjuna were also standing next to each other. Look at the photo:

In a cream-colored saree that she paired with a red, full-sleeved blouse, Sobhita stole the show. In the meanwhile, Chaitanya opted for a sherwani in a soft yellow shade. "Congrats to the newlyweds , welcome to the family dear Zainab , @akkineniakhil," wrote Chaitanya in the caption.

Amala's heartfelt message

In the meantime, Amala published an official message on her Instagram account to commemorate the event.

"I am overjoyed to announce that my beloved son Akhil married his beloved Zainab in a small ceremony at our house in the early hours of the morning (3:35 am)," it said. Sharing the warmth of love, laughter, and the company of our loved ones was a dream come true for both Nagarjuna and myself. As they begin this new chapter together, I want your blessings and well wishes. Sincerely and appreciatively, Amala Akkineni.”

In addition to pictures of Akhil and Zainab performing the pheras, Nagarjuna also shared one of him and Amala smiling as they did the pooja. With Akhil and Zainab both wearing ivory attire, the ceremony was conducted in the typical Telugu fashion. The daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee, who is in the building industry and hails from Hyderabad, is Zainab.
