The trailer for Munawar Faruqui's The Society has at last been released, and it's a mashup of Bigg Boss, Lock Upp, and Squid Game. The reality TV program's concept is ultimately revealed in the trailer, and it's not what you expected. The competition is about to get really dirty as the candidates have to battle for their place. As their group name implies, they are treated in that manner. The reality program promises a lot, including evading egg bombs and sacrificing hair.

Is The Society really the Squid Game?

Although heavily inspired by the same, the Indian version of the Korean drama Squid Game is not The Society. Even though The Society shares the same feel with Squid Game, with subjects such as the attire and bunk bed arrangement with the notion of the money in the vault, it does not include the "deadly" games that Squid Game is famous for. As a result, The Society is not the Indian counterpart to Squid Game, even though it shares certain similarities.
