In the upcoming Emmy Awards, MrBeast has encouraged his followers to vote for his television series Beast Games in the categories of outstanding reality competition program and host.

Prior to the reveal of official nominations on July 15, nomination voting for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards started on June 12 and concluded on June 23. Across the 15 program categories, there are 600 series competing.

MrBeast Discusses Pursuing an Emmy Nomination

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, told Variety that he wants folks to be aware of the work that went into producing the program.

Popular games like RuPaul's Drag Race, The Traitors, The Amazing Race, and Top Chef are giving Beast Games serious competition.

MrBeast, the most popular YouTuber in the world with over 402 million subscribers, stated that it is difficult to create theoretical content on the video-sharing platform because "people doing 10-episode shows don't really do that well, because YouTube recommends random videos."

He stated that the goal is to create something that allows his team to explore topics more thoroughly and tell more stories.

MrBeast remarked that the program "wasn't a money play, per se" when asked how it increased his YouTube views.

"It did reach an audience, which was cool, and it had a higher female penetration than my YouTube channel does, so a lot of it was a different demo," he told the news outlet.

MrBeast emphasized that his team adheres to a set standard and aims for their material to be seen by viewers as family-friendly, without concerns about anything they wouldn't want their relatives to see.

MrBeast revealed in his viewer response that many parents had informed him it helped them bond with their kids.

What about Season 2 of Beast Games?

MrBeast is intending to raise the standard in Season 2 of the television show. He disclosed that it would be "a little less like randomness" and more focused on skills.

Since they are currently halfway through production, he stated that fans may not have to wait long for Season 2 of Beast Games.

"The games are excellent. There are epic sets." "This season is going to blow people's minds," he remarked.
