Following a hiatus, the production of Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan's high-budget action drama, which stars superstars Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, and Nayanthara, has resumed in Sri Lanka.
According to reports, the current timetable will be completed in ten days and will include scenes with Kunchacko Boban and Mohanlal. Late last year, the crew started filming the movie in Sri Lanka with Mammootty and Mohanlal. Although Kunchacko was there, the actor is reported to have skipped the itinerary.
Kunchacko Boban and Mohanlal restart filming in Sri Lanka
The film, which stars Mammootty in the lead role, was postponed because of the lead actor's health issues. In the coming weeks, the megastar will likely join the sets and complete his portions. With Kunchacko putting the film above his other obligations, the crew did not stop shooting the movie, even if Mammootty's scenes were changed. Nivin Pauly took the actor's place in Baby Girl a few months ago, after he quit in order to finish filming his scenes in the Mahesh Narayanan picture.

In a previous chat with OTTplay, Kunchacko remarked, "I get to spend time with two men (Mammootty and Mohanlal), whom I have idolised." I'm so excited to be in this movie. The three of them had earlier appeared on screen together in Harikrishnans.
In the meantime, Mohanlal is prepared to make a cameo in Dileep's Bha while Akshay Kumar and Prabhas star in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa. Bha. Bha after he finishes shooting the Mahesh Narayanan picture. He is also said to be involved in Amal Neerad's upcoming film, which stars Soubin Shahir in a key role, along with Bheeshmaparvam.
The films that Mammootty will release in 2025
Mammootty is getting ready for the premiere of Kalamkaval, which allegedly stars him as a serial killer. He has already had two releases this year, Bazooka, which will start streaming on ZEE5 through OTTplay Premium, and Dominic and the Ladies' Purse. Currently, the Mahesh Narayanan film is scheduled to be released in theaters at the end of 2025. The Malayalam film industry is optimistic that it will set new box office records in a year that has already seen films like L2: Empuraan and Thudarum surpass the ₹100 crore threshold.
