In a recent, unusual statement, Miley Cyrus spoke about her former boyfriend Nick Jonas. The 32-year-old stated on the Every Single Album podcast on Thursday that she penned a song about the Jealous singer after he "broke up" with her. The Flowers hitmaker still "likes" him despite their disagreement.

In an uncommon statement about her ex Nick Jonas, Miley Cyrus says, "Niley for life."

"I like Nick. I'm into him," Cyrus said, describing her relationship with the Jonas Brothers celebrity. However, she acknowledged that he is "married with children," referring to his wife, Priyanka Chopra, and their 3-year-old daughter, Malti. The More to Lose singer said, "We're all moving on," and added, "Everything is good in life."

Referring to their old couple moniker, Cyrus continued, "Niley for life." The well-known Something Beautiful vocalist famously dated Jonas from 2006 to 2007, and they reconnected in 2009. She said on Thursday's podcast that their split left her "distraught."

She said that one of the reasons for their breakup was that Jonas was scheduled to go on tour with his band rather than opening for her concerts. Cyrus said, "He was kind of distancing himself from the Disney stuff, and I wanted him to take me on the tour," adding, "Like, 'Why don't we do it together? I don't understand why you're leaving me.'"

Cyrus also disclosed elsewhere in the podcast that the song Take Me Along from her 2010 album, Can't Be Tamed, was about Jonas. "I wrote Take Me Along before a concert in bed with my sister," Cyrus stated, adding, "...this song was about Nick Jonas."

Cyrus remembered her "big sister who was playing guitar for me on that tour" telling her, "25,000 people are waiting for you to pull your s**t together," while she was "sobbing" following her separation from Jonas.
