In relation to the Metro... In Dino's Zamaana Lage song premiere, Anurag Basu spoke about the 2007 film Life In A... Metro and the absence of performer Irrfan Khan and singer KK.

Konkona Sen Sharma is back.

In the next film, which is being hailed as a spiritual sequel, she will rejoin Konkona Sen Sharma (Right Yaaa Wrong), with whom she co-starred in the 2007 anthology drama. At the Mumbai promotional event, Basu spoke candidly about the enormous influence of Irrfan and KK's absence on the new endeavor.

The filmmaker said that the atmosphere of a scene they were shooting reminded them of one from the first movie. Konkona broke down in tears out of nowhere, and he still worries that someone may bring up Irrfan's name and cause her to sob. Basu also stated that they miss all the people they used to work with who are no longer with us, including KK.

The lasting impact of Irrfan and KK on Life In A... Metro

In Metro, Irrfan plays Monty, an upbeat and easygoing man who gradually gets to know Shruti (Konkona). One of the few positive conclusion points in the movie was their romance. On the other hand, the memorable songs Alvida and O Meri Jaan from the movie, which are still loved and felt by fans, were written by the singer KK.

At the event, Konkona, who makes a triumphant comeback in Metro... In Dino, confessed that she was taken aback by the new song. She said that the experience had a profound impact on her. The song evoked a wide range of emotions in her.

Pankaj Tripathi, the co-star, is commended.

She proceeded to commend Pankaj Tripathi (Main Atal Hoon), her co-star in the movie, for his performance. She claimed that it was a pleasure to work with him.

The event was attended by several members of the cast, including Aditya Roy Kapur (Rashtra Kavach Om), Sara Ali Khan (Simmba), Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Anupam Kher.

Current interpretation of interpersonal dynamics in cities

Metro is thought to be... Dino would continue in the same vein as its predecessor, but it would also explore contemporary urban relationships with new stories and dynamics. Pritam, who wrote the music for the original, and Anurag Basu are reunited in this picture.
