The budget of Anurag Basu's most recent film, the multi-star romance drama Metro..., has been the subject of intense discussion in the rumor mills. In Dino. "Metro...In Dino" debuted with a net of 3.5 crore rupees, according to the box office monitoring website Sacnilk. In the days that followed, the movie made ₹6 crore net and ₹7.25 crore net at the local box office.

Basu's critically acclaimed 2007 movie "Life in a... Metro," which starred the late Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Shiney Ahuja, and Shiney Ahuja, is followed by "Metro... In Dino". Sharma is the sole performer that appeared in both movies.

The movie is a joint production of Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd and T-Series, owned by Bhushan Kumar.

Frames illuminated with vibrant colors, a disorder that eventually comes together in a lovely way, and music that goes well with every scenario. Jagga Jasoos, his 2017 film, was a musical in a market that was already dominated by dance and song routines. It was an experiment that did not go well in the box office.
