The momentum of Big Brother 27 is building. The cast has been set, the house guests have arrived, and the excitement of the premiere is building. Following previous criticism regarding the inclusion of too many influencers, the show chose a less diverse cast this time. The season promises to be full of suspense and surprises because all the cast members have unique personalities and professions.

In addition to the 16 houseguests, CBS had earlier revealed that this season would also have a "masked visitor, a secret accomplice, and the shocking arrival of a "Mystery Houseguest" whose identity will remain under wraps... at least for now."

Lauren Domingue

According to a video package shared with NJ.com, Lauren Domingue, a Lafayette, Louisiana, bridal advisor, describes herself as "a super sweet Southern belle" who will "crush people in competitions if she needs to". Domingue, a devoted fan of the series since she was a youngster, intends to start off by keeping a low profile and getting to know each houseguest personally.

"Big Brother has never seen someone who is a super sweet Southern belle, but at the same time is willing to and will crush people in competition if she needs to," Domingue told USA Today. "My strategy going into the house is going to be taking in each person and feeling people out, getting really close to them. And sort of, figure out what their strategies are going to be, and build off of that."

Jorgensen, Kelly

Kelley Jorgensen, a web designer from South Dakota, is here to socialize. As evidenced by the video package she shared with NJ.com, she has visited every US state and 42 nations by herself, demonstrating that she is an adventurous person who can easily adapt to her surroundings. Even though she has only watched a few seasons of the show she is about to appear on, Jorgensen understands enough to minimize her career and goals in order to not become a target for the other housemates.

According to USA Today, Jorgensen stated, "I'm going to be the one to win 'Big Brother' because I'm a farm kid and I have farm kid grit. We finish the task, whatever needs to be done, we do it. And that's what I'm going to do in this house, I'm going to be a farm kid."

A 90-minute premiere episode of Big Brother 27 will air on CBS on Thursday (July 10) at 8 PM ET.
