Ali Fazal's experience filming Thug Life with Mani Ratnam

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ali Fazal stated that he immediately agreed to Thug Life and did not give it any thought. According to him, some calls in your life are immediately obvious as being intended to alter the course of your journey, and for Ali, Thug Life was one of them.

"The name Mani Ratnam brings to mind a legacy of storytelling that is timeless, transcendent, and profoundly grounded in human feeling rather than simply movies." Before accepting Thug Life, I didn't have to pause. It's not every day that you get asked to star in a Mani Ratnam film, especially not opposite such a legendary figure as Kamal Haasan.

This project is also unique because it brings together talent from all over the Indian film industry, regardless of language, he added. "It's the kind of ambitious, large-scale storytelling I've always wanted to be a part of. I feel incredibly honored and thrilled to step into this universe," Ali stated.

Concerning Thug Life

Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan play the main roles in the Tamil-language action drama Thug Life, which Mani Ratnam directed. The movie focuses on a gangster who is brought back to life after being presumed dead and who fights with his adoptive kid as it explores the underworld. Rangaraya Sakthivel, a criminal, and his brother Manickam are the central characters in the tale. During a gang fight, they rescue a young boy and bring him into their family, calling him Amaran (Silambarasan). But after an assassination attempt on Sakthivel, he begins to wonder if he is truly loyal to Amaran.

Trisha Krishnan, Nassar, and other actors are also featured in the movie. In addition to Tamil, the movie will also be available in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
