Renowned Iranian director Majid Majidi, famous for films like Children of Heaven, The Color of Paradise, and Baran, has arrived in Mumbai. He’s there to finalize his next big project, an emotional Indo-Iranian drama called Elephant Man. The film is being made with Kaash Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the same company that produced the acclaimed war film Shershaah.

This project marks a special partnership between Majidi and Indian producers Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah, and Himanshu Gandhi from Kaash Entertainment. Aakash and Vega Garg of True Aura Films are also involved. Known for telling stories about human emotions, Majidi is expected to bring his usual sensitivity to Elephant Man. Insiders say the story will focus on universal feelings like dignity and strength.

The film is still in the early stages of planning, with work ongoing on the script, cast, and timeline. Sources say filming will start later this year. They also expect casting news to come out soon.
