The controversy escalated when the event organizers, True Sound Live Ltd., issued an official statement to address the mounting criticism. While acknowledging the three-hour delay, the organizers shifted the blame entirely to the actress’s personal management team.

The statement clarified that the overall event, including high-energy opening acts, began on time and according to the planned schedule, which included a Q&A session followed by Madhuri’s 60-minute performance. The organizers alleged that Madhuri Dixit's own team “misinformed her about the call time,” leading to her late arrival. They insisted that the delay was “completely beyond the control” of the promotion company, and they encouraged the public to review available footage to judge the performance objectively.
