Leaked images from the Ramayana sets on Saturday revealed Sai Pallavi in her princess costume as Sita and Ranbir Kapoor in his traditional attire as Lord Ram, the crown prince of Ayodhya. The sets of the historical epic, which starred Ranbir and Sai, were captured in photographs and videos shared by ZoomTV on its social media profiles. For the first time, actors are paired up in the mythical drama.
Several entertainment websites claim that Ranbir is adhering to a vegetarian diet in order to prepare for his part as Lord Ram. In Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, Ranbir made his final appearance alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Saurabh Sachdeva, Shakti Kapoor, and others.

Pictures from the Ramayana set have recently gone viral after being leaked online. Arun Govil played King Dashrath while Lara Dutta wore the Kaikeyi attire. Rumors say that Vijay Sethupathi Vibhishana will be playing a supporting role, along with Bobby Deol as Kumbhkaran and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. However, there has been no official confirmation of this.
The epic Ramayana is based on the writings of the sage Valmiki, in case you are not aware. With Adipurush (2023), Om Raut had previously attempted the film adaptation, but it was also unsuccessful. Then came Nitesh. Adipurush was criticized for its poor CGI and distortion of mythological characters and had a lackluster theatrical release. The main roles were played by Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Prabhas.
Nitesh is reportedly converting his Ramayana into a trilogy, with the first chapter expected to be released in theaters in 2025.
