Teri Yaad and Shayad Yahi To Pyaar Hai are only a few of the tunes that musician and vocalist Adnan Sami worked on with Lata Mangeshkar. The singer discussed their unique relationship in a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble and remembered how the late singer once sang a song for his father as he was passing away.

Adnan Sami described feeling utterly helpless when his father was in the last stage of pancreatic cancer and dying. In a moment of profound emotional need, Adnan contacted Lata Mangeshkar, knowing that she had previously met his father many years ago, as his father was in Mumbai at the time.

Lata Mangeshkar's kind deed as described by Adnan Sami

"I told her he's in this condition, and I would love for you to talk to him; it will cheer him up," he said, remembering how Lata Mangeshkar sang for his sick father. I remember approaching him when he was sort of half-asleep. "Baba, it's Lata ji on call," I said to him as I approached. He gave me the phone, and all of a sudden, his expression brightened. He then went on to say that he had been listening to her music ever since he was a kid. She sang him his favorite song, Dheere Se Aaja, over the phone. He was at peace, and he had tears in his eyes. She stood there for me. I received a lot of messages from her.

Adnan also disclosed Lata's enthusiasm for photography, stating, "One of her passions was photography and photo editing." As a result, I was in Germany when my daughter was born, and I sent her photos of her. After making adjustments, she returned the images to me. She would enlarge the photographs that she found adorable. I would frequently share images of my daughter with her, and she would color correct them, crop them, and send them to me. The fact is, she was really unique.

In other news, Adnan recently made news with his track "Aao Na," which he collaborated with Asha Bhosle on. The music video starred Bigg Boss 18 celebrities Avinash Mishra and Eisha Singh.
