It’s a tribute to the film’s lasting legacy and its powerful themes of self-discovery and national duty.

Lakshya stars Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, and Amitabh Bachchan. The film tells the story of Karan Shergill, a young man from a wealthy, lazy background who finds direction after joining the Indian Army. As Karan shifts from being aimless to becoming a brave soldier, the film shows a story of growth, discipline, and sacrifice. It reflects both a personal journey and a bigger national story.

Farhan Akhtar directed the film, and Javed Akhtar, his father, wrote the script. The story was inspired by talks with soldiers from the 1999 Kargil War.
